The new fiat linea has finally arrived with a big bang. The car is all set to write history. The car comes with a bundle of features. The launch of the Fiat Linea is considered to be the most significant launch for this car manufacturer. It represents the comeback of Fiat to India. In the global car industry Linea is not a stranger, but in India it makes a grand new entry.
Tata Motors holds an excellent opportunity to market the elite Linea due to its recent business partnership with Fiat.
The Fiat Linea not only makes a style statement but also makes a power statement, delivering outstanding performance and impressive mileage. The car is available in six variants with two impressive forms, advanced multi-jet diesel engine and FIRE petrol engine. Active, Emotion, and Dynamic are the three variants that are available in both diesel and petrol.
AVALANCHE: The stereo gets a USB port, and 4x4 models get a single-speed transfer case; last year's low-range transfer case is now an extra-cost option.
AVEO: Horsepower is up from 106 to 108, the manual transmission gets higher 4th and 5th gear ratios for better fuel economy, and 2LT models get a standard trunk spoiler. Also new: Wintergreen Metallic paint.
Chevrolet re-introduced its classic sports car for 2010, with a strong emphasis on bang-for-buck: The base-model Camaro offers a 300 horsepower direct-fuel-injected 3.6 liter V6 for around $23,000, while the Camaro SS comes with a Corvette-sourced 6.2 liter 426 horsepower V8 for $31,000.CONFIRMED FOR 2010:
GHOST: Formerly known as the RR4, the Ghost is the new entry-level sedan from Rolls-Royce. Official photos of the Ghost have not been released, but the car will reportedly look similar to the 200EX show car in the photo at right. The Ghost is based on mechanical bits from the BMW 7-series (BMW owns Rolls-Royce) but the engine will be a unique twin-turbocharged 6.6 liter V12 good for at least 500 horsepower that will turn the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission. Styling details include rear-hinged "suicide" back doors and a more dynamic driving experience intended, according to Rolls-Royce, "for those owners around the world that will wish to drive it themselves." Pricing has not been announced, but the Ghost is expected to sell for around £170,000, which equates to just over $270,000 -- about $110,000 cheaper than the least-expensive 2010 Phantom.
PHANTOM: The Phantom sedan received a modified front grille and bumper and some mild interior updates midway through the 2009 model year, and those will continue for 2010. All Phantoms (Sedan, Extended-Wheelbase Sedan, Coupe and Drophead) get larger side mirrors and automatic high beams, while on the inside an all-wood dashboard replaces last year's aluminum accents. The no-cost paint palette has been expanded to 16 colors, and the Phantom offers new forged wheel options.ARNAGE: No major changes.
AZURE:No major changes.
BROOKLANDS: The all-new Bentley Brooklands will go on sale in early 2008 as a 2009 model. I wouldn’t plan a trip to the dealership, though, as the 550 examples that Bentley will build are already spoken for. Among the featuers of the $340,990 four-seat Brooklands: All-leather interior, special 20" wheels, and a 6.75 liter V8 (530 horsepower and 774 lb-ft of torque; according to Bentley that's the highest torque rating of any automotive engine ever produced) that whisks the Brooklands to 60 MPH in five seconds flat.
CONTINENTAL: The new Bentley Continental GT Speed coupe gets a 600 hp 12-cylinder engine (0-60 in 4.3 seconds), stiffer suspension and steering, and sportier styling cues. The Continental GT Coupe gets updated front-end styling, softer suspension tuning, and modifications to the 552 hp W12 engine that improve emissions and fuel economy. The Continental Flying Spur sedan and GTC convertible get a modified electronic stability control system, improved Bluetooth phone compatibility, and an optional 3-spoke steering wheel.
